St. Paul is an active congregation, with something for everyone:
Adult Bible Study meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the home of Wendy Wagner, 7:00 p.m. Another Bible Study, conducted by the Pastor, is held after church on Sundays at 10:15 a.m.
Blueberry Social — St. Paul, Kouts, is known for its outstanding Blueberry Social, an event that draws people from miles around on the second Wednesday of July, for our famous blueberry shakes, homemade blueberry desserts, etc.
Choir — Practices are every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. except during the summer. Soloists and instrumentalists are always appreciated!
Ladies Aid meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. We are part of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.
Lutheran Laymen’s League — Many of our members are involved in spreading the Gospel and helping the needy through the LLL, an auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
Lutheran Youth Fellowship — For high school age students. LYF meets twice a month for Bible study and an activity.
Quilters meet each Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Social Group —
Sunday School — Sunday morning at 10:15 is Sunday School time, from September through May. Kids age 3 through high school learn about how Jesus loves them and what the Christian faith is all about.
Thrivent — Many of our members are involved with
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, a fraternal organization resulting from the merger of Aid Association for Lutherans and Lutheran Brotherhood.
Vacation Bible School — A fun time for kids age 3 years through sixth grade is offered every summer, with a special theme relating to the Christian life.
In addition, the St. Paul Parish Hall houses the Pleasant Township Food Pantry and serves as a meeting place for other community groups and events, including the Lion’s Club of Kouts and Alcoholics Anonymous.
